Welcome to the Propsect Heights CSA!
Founded in 2006, the Prospect Heights CSA works with Windflower Farms in Valley Farms, New York to bring fresh vegetables, fruit, and flowers to the Prospect Heights Community. Windflower Farm is a small organic farm nestled on 38 acres in the Taconic hill country between Saratoga Springs and the Vermont border. It's an area made beautiful by the mix of small farms, open fields and wooded landscapes. The farm has been growing flowers, fruit, and vegetables for more than ten years, and distributing CSA shares in New York City for six years.

Prospect Heights CSA Share Information
Shares are distributed on Thursdays between 4:30 and 7:30 at PS 9 on Underhill Avenue between Bergen and St. Marks. Vegetable shares last 22 weeks from June 18 to November 11th and fruit and flower shares last 18 to 20 weeks. In order to make vegetable shares available to a people from a wider variety of income levels, shareholders are able to sign up at three levels based upon income:
Organic Vegetable Share
Recommended full share prices for 22 weeks
$370 for a household with annual income under $40,000
$440 for a household with annual income between $40,000 and $100,000
$490 for a household with annual income above $100,000
Recommended half share prices for 22 weeks
$185 for household with annual income under $40,000
$220 for household with annual income between $40,000 and $100,000
$245 for household with annual income above $100,00
Fruit Share (optional)
$140 for 20 weeks
Organic Flower Share
$120 for 10 bouquets for the first 10 weeks
Egg Share
$53 for a half dozen
$99 for a dozen
$190 for two dozen
Administrative Fee
$20 to cover distribution site expenses
